As of September 2019, our team was one of five Cypriot organisations to have received a Creative Europe Award and was part of a transnational collaborative project titled Contested Desires.This project included residencies led by different partners, and culminated with Xarkis Festival 2022, with all artists and partners from six different countries (Barbados with Fresh Milk, Italy with ECCOM, Portugal with LAC, Spain with La Bonne, UK with D6 and Cyprus with Xarkis) joining us in Xarkis Multi-residency and Xarkis Festival program. In this context, Xarkis had taken on a dual role: As the Multi-Residency and Festival partner of the cohort, whereby the work generated by nine artists and producers informed our 2022 Festival edition and culminated in Agros village. On the other hand, we led the external communication strategies for the entire consortium, including creative direction and management of the visual identity, graphic design, branding, marketing and communication promotion tools via all the project’s communication channels.
We are now open to proposals on new transnational collaborations via local, EU-wide and international projects.
