Acknowledging that sustainability is fundamentally a cultural issue, Xarkis aims to adopt a series of practices to reduce our footprint: Amongst others, we’re adopting zero waste and circular economy practices, we offset our emissions by planting trees, and we opt for seasonal, local, preferring vegetarian diet wherever possible. Most importantly, we encourage our audience to become agents of change and incorporate a broader ‘green pedagogy’ in their everyday lives and in their communities.
